We make pans built to last. If yours doesn't meet the standard, neither of us should be stuck with the result. Our return process is straightforward — and we mean it.

Return Window

You have 60 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return. Whether you've cooked in it once or not at all, that window applies to every Julien product purchased directly from juliencookware.com.

What Can Be Returned

We accept returns on all Julien Cookware products purchased directly at juliencookware.com, including:

• Products returned within 60 days of delivery (used or unused)
• Items that arrive damaged or defective

If your product is defective outside the 60-day return window, it is covered under our Lifetime Warranty Policy below.

What Cannot Be Returned

• Items purchased through third-party retailers — please contact that retailer directly
• Gift cards
• Items returned after 60 days from delivery (defect claims handled via Warranty Policy)

Return Shipping

Defective or damaged items: Julien covers return shipping. We'll send you a prepaid return label at no cost to you.

Change of mind / not what you expected: You cover return shipping. We'll provide a prepaid return label, and the shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

All returns ship to our Canada returns address, provided in your return confirmation email.

How to Start a Return

1. Email hello@juliencookware.com with your order number and reason for the return.
2. We'll respond within 2 business days with return instructions and your return label.
3. Package your pan securely and drop it off at the shipment location.
4. Once received, your refund is processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.

We don't process direct exchanges. If you'd like a different size or product, return the original and place a new order.

Arrived Damaged?

If your pan arrives damaged, photograph it (including the packaging) and email us within 7 days of delivery. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund right away, and cover all associated shipping costs.

Lifetime Warranty

Our Commitment

Julien pans are made in Japan from nitrided carbon steel to a standard we're genuinely proud of. If yours fails because of how it was made — not how it was used — we'll make it right. For life.

What's Covered

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that arise under normal cooking conditions, including:

• Structural failure of the pan body not caused by impact, dropping, or misuse
• Handle failure or separation under normal use
• Surface defects in the nitrided finish that originate from manufacturing (not from seasoning neglect or improper care)

What's Not Covered

The warranty does not cover damage or degradation caused by:

• Rust or surface discoloration from improper care or storage
• Warping caused by thermal shock (placing a very hot pan under cold water)
• Physical damage from dropping, impact, or accident
• Normal wear including patina development or darkening through regular cooking
• Dishwasher use
• Damage from extreme heat or use outside the pan's intended purpose

How to Make a Claim

1. Email hello@juliencookware.com with clear photographs of the defect.
2. Our team will review your claim within 3–5 business days.
3. If approved, we'll ship a replacement to you at no charge.
4. In some cases we may request the item be returned for inspection — if so, we cover return shipping.

Warranty Remedy

When a claim is approved, we will send a replacement of the same or equivalent model. If the original model is no longer available, we will issue store credit equal to the current retail price. We do not offer cash refunds under warranty.

Is This Warranty Transferable?

Yes. Our warranty follows the pan, not the receipt. Whether you received yours as a gift or inherited it from someone who cooked even better than you do, Julien still stands behind it.

A Note on Honest Claims

We take warranty claims seriously and inspect each one carefully. Legitimate defects are always covered. Our goal is never to make the process difficult — it's to ensure the warranty protects customers with genuine issues, as it was intended to.
